From inquiry to delivery
How a 20-unit project works
Typical timeline for a standard-model resort or ADU rollout. Custom finishes or engineered adaptations add 1–2 weeks at the design stage.
Submit project brief
Share site location, number of units, model preference, and target timeline. No drawings needed at this stage.
Day 1
Scope confirmation + indicative quote
DEEPBLUE confirms model selection, FOB pricing for your quantity, container count, and payment terms. Responded within 1 business day.
Days 3–5
Design confirmation (if customization needed)
Standard models proceed directly to deposit. Custom finishes, exterior branding, or layout changes require a paid design scope, quoted separately.
Week 1–2
50% deposit — production starts
Factory production begins immediately after deposit is received and any design is confirmed. Balance due before shipment.
Week 2–3
Factory production
All units produced in sequence under factory QC. Progress photos at key milestones. Every unit leaves Ningbo to the same standard.
Weeks 4–9
Phased shipping — balance payment before each batch
Units loaded into 40HQ containers and shipped in 1–3 batches depending on site readiness. 1 unit per 40HQ for compact models.
Weeks 9–12
On-site installation
Each unit unfolds and installs in 1–2 days. DEEPBLUE can provide a site supervisor (separate fee). Local labour and crane are client scope.
On arrival
What FOB price does not include: Ocean freight, customs clearance, inland transport to site, foundation or slab, site installation labour, crane hire, local permits and approvals, design fee for any custom work, furniture and appliances. DEEPBLUE supplies the building kit — all other costs are client or local contractor scope unless separately agreed in writing.
